  1st Coice Home Improvements took advantage of of my elderly mother and proceeded to do work without pulling permits. When I brought up the fact we never had an inspector sign off I was told permits weren't required. Not true. I gave them several opportunities to be honest and the dishonesty continued. FYI to anyone reading this in Escambia County Florida, shower replacements do require permits and inspections. In addition, finishing work was left unfinished, no permanent shower rod, caulking and trim, etc. Let me be clear, the reason I chose this company for my mom was the salesman used his religion as a basis for honesty, and assured us the company didn't cut corners. He is either delusional or clueless about their actual practices. Too bad, as if proper work had been done we would have used them for the other bathroom and other projects. In my years of management, when a client gave me the opportunity to right a wrong I did!!! I would never intentionally deceive for the sake of a dollar! This business is disgraceful, not because they made a mistake, but because they refused to own it. This review is the result of the company refusing to follow up.
